FiberNET E-Mail Server Settings

Incoming Server Settings
1. Host Name / Mail Server Address: mail.musfiber.com
2. Username: Your email address (Ex: username@musfiber.com)
3. Password: This is the password to your email address
4. IMAP Server Port: 143
5. Secure Socket Layer (SSL): OFF / Disabled
6. Authentication Setting: PASSWORD

Outgoing Server Settings
1. Host Name / Mail Server Address: mail.musfiber.com
2. Username: Your email address (Ex: username@musfiber.com)
3. Password: This is the password to your email address
4. Outgoing Server Port: 587
5. Secure Socket Layer (SSL): OFF / Disabled
6. Authentication Setting: PASSWORD

 

Choose your Operating system and the program you use to receive email for detailed graphical instructions on how to set it up.

*The above instructions will create a POP3 email account on your computer. If you wish to use IMAP to check your email, use port 143 for the Incoming Mail port.

*Avast Anti-Virus has been known to block some email clients from sending email. Click here to read the instructions that will resolve this issue.

Webmail

If you do not find your email client here, or you do not have an email client on your computer, you can always use our webmail interface, available to any computer with an Internet connection.

Spam Filter Settings

Your MUSFibernet.com email is now protected by our Red Condor spam and virus filtering system. Mail sent to you will be automatically filtered before it arrives in your inbox and the spam will be stored in an online quarantine. You can safely view your quarantine anytime you like without risk from fraudulent and dangerous email. Please read the Welcome Letter for more information and how to access the Personal Dashboard.
